We are recruiting for bank/casual Support Workers in Inverness to support individuals with autism and learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes.

The People We Support Are Very Active And Require Staff Who Are Able To Support Them With Their Daily Activities. They Walk Up To 7 Miles Per Day, Go To The Gym And Go Trampolining, Swimming And Horse Riding Each Week. In Addition, They Enjoy Visiting Family, Playing Nintendo, Watching Youtube, Cooking, Drawing, Playing And Listening To Music And Spending Time In The Great Outdoors. As Well As Supporting With The Many Activities The People We Support Enjoy, Our Team Also Supports With a Variety Of Things Such As

* Medication administration
* Assisting with personal care
* Maintaining the homes and finances of the people we support

Previous experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities or mental health concerns would be great, but if you don't have experience, we'll provide the training you need.

We are only recruiting for casual day shift, waking nights and sleepover cover at this time to support during periods of annual leave and sickness.

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
