Get Golfing CIO, a charity dedicated to making golf more accessible for all, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving and dynamic organisation managing 13 sites with 7,000 members and over 160,000 visitors annually. The company has a revenue of £20m and employs 400 people, reinvesting profits into venues, courses, staff development, and community charitable initiatives.

Role Purpose
The Head Chef ensures the highest standards of quality and service across our venues. Reporting to the General Manager, the Head Chef will showcase culinary creativity, manage kitchen staff, and develop new menus.
This full-time role offers £40-42k annually, depending on experience, with evening and weekend availability required.
Responsibilities
* Input and shape site team briefs with creative flair and understanding of food hospitality and business drivers.
* Develop menus responding to recipes that align with our principles and meet commercial expectations.
* Ensure allergen management processes are followed and updated daily.
* Report near misses and accidents to uphold Health and Safety standards.
* Create recipes within the capabilities and equipment available, supporting kitchen teams' professional development.
* Work with the Group Catering Manager to document and cost recipes and ingredients, aligning with strategic objectives.
* Collaborate with Club House teams, Sales, and Marketing to realize our shared vision consistently across all sites.
Requirements
* Innate sense of what makes our food offering unique.
* Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds such as contract catering, hotels, restaurants, or sports sectors.
* Passionate about making a difference.
* Up-to-date knowledge of food trends.
* Computer literate.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Proven experience with menus and programs delivering financial forecasts.
* Strong understanding of margins, food costs, and customer satisfaction.
* Experience managing waste and stock loss.
* Ability to produce scalable recipe specifications.
* Experience delivering training that inspires, including operational guides and merchandising.
* Natural coaching ability with a background in staff development.
* Creative, process-oriented, and methodical approach.
* Strong influencing skills across various levels.
* Excellent communication skills to partner with stakeholders and meet business needs.
* Uphold best practices in food safety, cleanliness, allergen awareness, and health & safety.
