About Fresh Cut Video
Fresh Cut Video is a creative video production company based in Oxford. We produce engaging content for leading brands, universities, charities, and broadcasters,with a portfolio spanning corporate films, live streams, documentaries and social campaigns. Our team is passionate about delivering impactful visual stories across formats and platforms.
We’re entering an exciting period of growth, with a high volume of new projects about to land,and we’re looking to expand our production team to meet that demand. We’re now seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to support our operations from pre-production through to delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on and fast-paced role at the heart of our production team. You'll be responsible for keeping projects on track, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth operations from initial planning through to final delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Project & Production Coordination
You'll be responsible for managing production schedules and coordinating crew, equipment, and locations to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll issue call sheets, freelance contracts, and assist with essential paperwork. The role also involves supporting compliance across shoots – including risk assessments, permissions, and release forms – and occasionally attending shoots to assist with logistics and provide on-site support.
Administrative & Office Support
As the key point of contact for admin and organisational tasks, you’ll be preparing production documents, internal paperwork, and supporting with various day-to-day operations. This includes assisting with accounts, tracking invoices, and helping manage basic budget information. You’ll also be involved in preparing monthly summaries for payroll.
Systems & Team Operations
You’ll play a central role in keeping our systems and processes running efficiently, supporting with scheduling, resource planning, and production tracking across multiple projects using Asana. You’ll help manage staff leave and working hours using tools like Bright HR, ensure proper file management, and provide organisational support to keep the wider team aligned and well-informed.
This role would suit someone who thrives on multitasking, enjoys getting into the details, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be a natural organiser with strong communication and coordination skills, able to juggle multiple projects under pressure with calm, solution-focused energy. We’re looking for someone proactive and eager to learn, with solid problem-solving instincts and a genuine interest in building a career in production management. Previous experience in a production role - such as a coordinator, secretary, or similar is essential.

The fixed-term nature reflects our current project pipeline, but we're actively seeking the right person to grow with us long-term. Extension decisions will be based on business needs and performance, with strong performers having opportunities to:
- Transition to a permanent contract
- Take on specialized roles
- Lead on specific project types or client accounts
