What you will be doing
We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Digital, who has a passion for marketing and ecommerce that can forge a strong connection to the PC gaming and hardware enthusiast community. Therefore, a passion for gaming and/or the latest in gaming technology hardware is a must!
You can expect lots of variety in this role but ultimately you will develop and execute the marketing and ecommerce strategy for Overclockers UK, in line with budgets and commercial expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the marketing strategy for Overclockers UK, ensuring the brand is "everywhere that matters" in line with budgets and commercial expectations
* Lead the Overclockers UK marketing and ecommerce department to deliver the strategy and achieve the very best results, and influence the wider business to support
* Coach the department to improve their knowledge, skills, identify opportunities and drive growth
* Support a department culture which builds confidence, empowers with trust, encourages calculated risk taking and dares to experiment
* Build and maintain strong departmental relationships to rally the business to support marketing and ecommerce performance, initiatives and projects
* Full ownership of OCUK's performance marketing strategy
* Responsibility of OCUK's content SEO strategy
* Full ownership of OCUK's shop management and merchandising
* Full accountability for OCUK's marketing budget
* Oversee marketing activity ad strategy for partnerships, media, influencer and affiliates, social media, video, blog, events and physical activations

* Proven leadership experience in a senior marketing and ecommerce role
* Strong performance marketing and commercial mindset
* Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, merchandising, and customer journeys
* Experience working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced retail or digital environment
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior level
* Passionate about gaming or the latest gaming technology hardware
