Employment Solicitor (2-5 PQE)
Salary: £68,000 - £72,000
Location: Manchester
The Role
We are seeking an Employment Solicitor (2-5 PQE) to join a growing and highly regarded employment law team. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of contentious and advisory work, with the opportunity to manage your own matters and contribute to client development.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a varied caseload of employment matters including discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and redundancy
* Advise clients on HR policies, contracts, disciplinaries, grievances and workplace investigations
* Draft employment documentation including settlement agreements and service contracts
* Support senior lawyers on high-value litigation, TUPE and restructuring projects
* Build strong client relationships and deliver clear, pragmatic advice
* Contribute to team training, knowledge sharing and business development activities
Requirements
* Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE in employment law
* Experience in both contentious and advisory employment matters
* Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills
* Commercially focused approach with excellent client care abilities
* Organised, proactive and a strong team player
