Job Description

Digital Platforms Manager with experience of social media channel management is required by my well known and respected client who are a household name within the food, hospitality & retail sector.

They are looking for a creative candidate who can manage their digital platforms with a focus on developing their YouTube & Video Channels coupled with their expanding Podcast and Audio revenue Channels whilst also keeping their well-established Website and SEO activities at the forefront of their sector.

They work a hybrid model with around 3 days onsite in their London HQ and offer a base salary of £50k + excellent flexible benefits in a creative, friendly and supportive company culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

YouTube & Video Channel Management

Own the strategic management of the clients YouTube channels through Fremantle, ensuring content is optimised for discovery, retention and growth. ● Lead YouTube & podcast channel strategy, driving growth through SEO optimisation, search visibility, and audience-first content planning. ● Continuously refine channel strategy in line with platform trends, algorithm changes, and audience behaviour. ● Own monetisation strategy including AdSense, partnerships, memberships, and revenue optimisation. ● Oversee content distribution and CRM integration across YouTube and podcast platforms to grow, engage, and retain audiences. ● Work closely with Social Media Assistant - manage content scheduling and performance, tracking KPIs (watch time, CTR, retention, subscribers, RPM) and optimising via data-led insights and testing.

Podcasts & Audio Revenue

● Support the development and optimisation of the clients podcast content across platforms ● Work with commercial and ad-tech partners to grow podcast advertising and sponsorship revenue. ● Monitor listener growth, completion rates and discoverability, using insights to inform future content and commissioning decisions. ● Identify opportunities to repurpose audio content across CRM, web and video platforms to maximise reach and ROI.

Website Management: UX, SEO, Discovery & Performance & content

● Own and optimise my clients main website, delivering best-in-class UX through continuous improvement, product development, testing and feature implementation. ● Lead SEO, discovery and search strategy (SEMRush, algorithm monitoring, site health) to drive traffic, authority, ad revenue and long-term growth. ● Execute digital campaigns and key calendar moments (e.g. Christmas, Easter), optimising on-site journeys, content formats and conversion pathways. ● Analyse performance across written, video and evergreen content, refining metadata, thumbnails, publishing cadence and monetisation in collaboration with publishing, social and production teams. ● Drive audience growth and engagement through CRM integration, user reviews, emerging content trends and strategic brand partnerships that enhance revenue and user experience.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

● Proven experience managing high-traffic websites and content-led YouTube or video channels, including audience growth, retention, and cross-platform content alignment. ● In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, metadata optimisation, and site health management. ● Strong understanding of UX and conversion rate optimisation, including improving user journeys, A/B testing, and optimising conversion funnels. ● Experience managing content operations and scheduling across platforms, coordinating effectively with editorial, production, and social teams. ● Strong understanding of digital advertising and monetisation, including video, podcast, and revenue optimisation (RPM) with commercial accountability. ● High proficiency in CMS platforms, SEO tools, performance analytics, and CRM systems (e.g., Klaviyo) to drive retention, segmentation, and engagement. ● Ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable content, channel, and platform strategies. ● Excellent attention to detail across copy, design, and functionality, with a proactive approach to maintaining quality and consistency. ● Solid knowledge of data protection laws and GDPR, ensuring compliance across platforms. ● A genuine passion for the digital landscape, with curiosity for emerging platforms, creators, and fast-growing content formats.
