On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Jigs & Tool Development Engineer on an initial 10 - month contract.
Role: Jigs & Tool Development Engineer
Pay: £37.12 per hour via umbrella
Location: Broughton
Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 Hours per week, 10 Months Contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
Supporting the Lineside Widebody ME Team located within the Widebody CDT on a day-to-day basis with any general jig and tool issues or queries.
Managing/Processing/Completing Tooling Notifications (TERs, TDFs) in SAP workflow.
Regularly interfacing with the tooling supply chain and STC service providers (Excent and Ascent)
Essential Skills:
Experience and knowledge of the Widebody CDT is desirable along with the jigs and tools processes and procedures
Good knowledge and experience of the Plant HSE requirements inclusive of CPR1053
Good communicator
Stakeholder Management Skills
Experience and knowledge of managing Tool Notifications within SAP
Experience with Catia/CADDS
Engineering degree or relative experience.
