Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Urgent & Unscheduled Care (OU&B)
We are looking for a highly‑motivated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner who has completed a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Practice to work as part of our multidisciplinary team. The ANP will be a member of the first response team for the provision of Urgent and Unscheduled care, including primary care home visits in the community, NHS 24, custody care and Hospital @ Home level care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide urgent and unscheduled care 24/7, 365 days a year, covering 0800‑2100 7 days a week.
* Work as part of the first response team, collaborating with GPs, nursing, mental health and ambulance colleagues.
* Deliver primary care home visits in the community and support the Western Isles destination.
* Support clinical colleagues and participate in remote team meetings; provide peer support to local GPs and specialist teams.
* Contribute to the development of primary care and acute services in the remote‑island location.
Salary & Benefits
* Band 7 (£50,861 – £59,159) per annum (pro‑rata)
* Distant Islands Allowance of £1,349 (pro‑rata)
* 24.7 hours per week, permanent post x2
Qualifications & Requirements
* Postgraduate diploma in Advanced Practice (Advanced Nurse Practitioner).
* Essential registration with the PVG Scheme.
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, including at a distance.
