We are currently recruiting for a CAD Manager on the Lower Thames Crossing project where we’re delivering preliminary works for the Kent Roads section – 6 km of new road, Europe’s widest green bridge, a public park and 12 miles of pathways. This landmark project will pioneer low‑carbon construction techniques while creating local jobs, boosting skills and connecting communities across Kent and Essex via the UK’s longest road tunnel.
Responsibilities
* Interface with the Engineering Surveying, Engineering and Design teams to ensure they are utilising the correct CAD data and working to the relevant standards.
* Oversee Engineering Survey CAD operations, develop standards and procedures, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with the project team to support project delivery.
* Be responsible for the production of survey CAD data, ensuring site engineering surveys are properly processed and delivered, with all work aligned to the project CAD specification.
* Interface with the design teams to ensure the correct CAD information is being passed onto the engineering and survey teams on site.
* Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, best practices, and workflows across projects in line with the client’s requirements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology or related field preferred.
* Experience in processing and delivering survey data in various CAD formats.
* Proven experience in a CAD/survey data management related role with supervisory or management responsibilities.
* Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM processes and protocols.
* Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation or similar platforms.
