Job Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through a consumer-focused approach. They are accountable for achieving this by:
* Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
* Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and maintaining retail standards
* Adhering to store, Brand, and Company procedures and guidelines to contribute to efficiencies
* Understanding daily/weekly targets
* Staying informed about additional sales channels such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels
* Monitoring competitor activities and identifying missed opportunities
* Utilising social media to drive business and enhance the Brand image
* Implementing the Brand Strategy and local marketing & events initiatives
* Ensuring excellent service delivery, aiming for a zero consumer complaints culture and creating a surprise and delight experience
* Acting as a Brand ambassador, embodying Brand values
* Managing refunds and complaints according to guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when necessary
* Using digital tools to stay informed and deliver a consumer recruitment and retention strategy
* Developing product knowledge to deliver industry-leading customer experiences
* Maintaining high standards in product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing
* Managing stock deliveries, movements, and associated administration efficiently
* Fulfilling all audit and operational requirements, following security policies to minimise stock loss
* Creating a safe working environment, adhering to health & safety policies, aiming for acceptable audit grades
Commerciality
* Managing daily replenishment and taking appropriate actions
* Maximising sales performance using commercial reports
* Planning and executing visual merchandising within guidelines and deadlines
* Managing promotions and discounts per company guidelines
* Identifying trends and suggesting product performance enhancements
Qualifications
* Experience in fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environments
* Ability to drive self-development
* Commercial awareness of the industry
* Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
