We are looking for an experienced and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join and engineering department in a modern, clean FMCG environment in Tewkesbury.
LOCATION: Tewkesbury Industrial Estate
PAY: £ 19.89/hr + OT of x1.25 above 40 hours
HOURS: Rotating shifts:
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am - 1.45pm and Saturday, 6am - finish.
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1.45pm - 9.45pm.
DURATION: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
What You Will Be Doing
* Respond to breakdowns across production and processing equipment
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
* Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Repair, test and recommission machinery safely
* Work to strict Health & Safety standards
* Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement
What You Will Bring (Essential)
* Electrical bias (minimum 70/30 electrical to mechanical split)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience working on high-speed / automated machinery
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
* Experience within an FMCG or fast-paced production environment
Qualifications:
* HNC/HND/HNCD Level 4/5 in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
* City & Guilds Level 4/5 Electrical Engineering
* Equivalent job-based engineering experience
