Pertemps Education are seeking experienced Cover Teachers to support a secondary school in Wembley. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who are looking for flexible, day-to-day work, delivering lessons across a range of subjects using the class teacher’s planning.
Role Overview As a Cover Teacher, you will:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across different subjects and year groups.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies.
Support pupils in making progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.Requirements
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Previous classroom teaching experience in secondary schools.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
