A genuinely manageable GP workload.
This is a well‑structured 6‑session role within a small, established practice, offering a highly organised working day, minimal home visits, and strong MDT support. While you will be the sole GP on‑site for your days, you are backed by a wider clinical network, meaning you are never truly working in isolation.
Salary & Benefits

Workload & Structure
* 6 sessions (Wednesday–Friday)
* 9am–6pm working day (11–1 cover after 6pm)
* No traditional duty doctor model
* Appointments:
o Morning: 15 patients (6 calls, 9 face‑to‑face)
o Afternoon: 13 patients (4 calls, 9 face‑to‑face)
o Mix of 10‑minute calls and 15‑minute face‑to‑face consultations
* Minimal home visits. Daily visit slot rarely used and often becomes admin time.
* Meetings scheduled during sessions, replacing clinical slots.
Clinical Support
* Registered Nurse Practitioner support every day
* Highly developed pharmacy team:
o Senior Clinical Pharmacist
o Pharmacy Technician
o Additional PCN pharmacy support (GPs largely not dealing with medication queries)
* Full PCN MDT, including:
o First Contact Mental Health
o First Contact Physiotherapy
o Care Coordinators (including dedicated support for complex patients)
* Safeguarding leadership in place
* Backed by a wider clinical leadership structure.
The Practice
* Small list (sub 5,000 patients)
* Recognised deep‑end practice, attracting additional funding and support
* Strong QOF achievement despite complex demographic
* Close working relationship with adjoining pharmacy
* Dedicated quiet admin space available
* Twice‑daily team coffee breaks supporting a cohesive working environment.
