Employment Details
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 per annum
Hours: 45 hours, 1 hour lunch (7 – 5, Monday to Friday)
Location: Crawley
Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays
On‑call: £25
Responsibilities
* Carry out site inspections
* Coordinate field engineers
* Manage fleet issues
* Evaluate employee performance
* Liaise with office planners / team leaders
* Conduct one‑to‑ones
* Manage vehicle utilisation
* Ensure resource availability
* Assist clients with high‑profile jobs
* Monitor engineers’ performances
* Lead and liaise with HR on disciplinaries, interviews and pathway reviews
* Take care of the wellbeing of field staff
* Understand and uphold Lanes Group policies and responsibilities
* Carry out reasonable ad‑hoc duties as requested by senior leadership
Experience and Capabilities
* Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365
* Comfortable working in operational roles
* Experience with compliance, processes and health and safety regulations
