This is a crucial, new role within the structure and gives the successful applicant the chance to add real value to the existing team during a crucial time of year. This role will be ideal for a candidate with local government experience within financial accounts. Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant: Support with Year End Closure Treasury Management Statutory Returns Preparing Financial Statements Reconciliations / Balance Sheets.The successful Financial Accountant will have the following skills and attributes: Advanced excel skills Public Sector experience - ideally local government experience Must be task orientated Must have excellent knowledge of technical accounting Must have excellent communication skills Part Qualified as a minimum, however ideally fully qualified.
