Line Service Palletising Operative Location: Milton Keynes (MK10) Salary: £15.00 per hour Hours: Panama shift pattern – 6:00 AM–6:00 PM / 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (rotating days and nights) Mon, Tue,Fri and Sat Sun,Wed and Thur Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Industrious is recruiting for Line Service Palletising Operatives to join a leading food production site based in Milton Keynes (MK10). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are key. As a Line Service Palletising Operative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining stock levels, and operating palletising and case-packing equipment safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Operate and set up automated box and case packing machinery. * Operate and set up label machines for case labelling. * Palletise box/tray products according to specifications and transfer completed pallets to the warehouse. * Build pallets to the correct configuration and ensure all traceability and data entries are completed accurately. * Book pallets correctly using the computerized system. * Maintain adequate stock of trays, boxes, and materials to avoid line stoppages. * Return unused stock to the warehouse, ensuring accurate records are kept. * Support production changeovers, minimizing downtime. * Conduct quality checks in line with company standards and procedures. * Adhere to all Health & Safety and manual handling procedures. * Follow “clean as you go” principles to maintain a safe, hygienic workspace. * Communicate effectively with colleagues, team leaders, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. About You * Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or palletising environment preferred. * Strong teamwork and communication skills (spoken and written English). * Basic PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook). * Willingness to work Panama rotating shifts (days/nights). * A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
