About the Opportunity
Hawthorn One are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global manufacturing business to source a Graduate Finance Business Partner. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated finance graduate to join a highly successful and growing UK manufacturing business. Working closely with an experienced Head of Finance, youll gain hands-on experience across all areas of the finance function, from management accounting and financial analysis to stakeholder engagement and commercial decision-making.
Youll be part of a team that genuinely values development. As well as full support towards your professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA), youll gain exposure to how a high-performing finance function operates day to day, and see first-hand how finance adds value across operations, production and leadership teams. The experience and high quality finance team will provide ongoing mentorship and development.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyse weekly flash P&L forecasts, including variance analysis to budget
Deliver data-led insight to support financial and operational decision-making
Partner with operations teams to identify performance trends and drive improvements in areas such as labour recovery and scrap reduction
Support the month-end process, including analysis of manufacturing variances and management reporting
Assist with the preparation of Board and SLT reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity
Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Degree qualified, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
Keen to progress toward a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively
Excellent Excel skills and confident using Microsoft Office
A proactive learner with strong attention to detail and the desire to grow within a dynamic environment
