We’re looking for full-time Supporting Adults to join our ever-growing team here at 3Hive. You'll be a role model and mentor, playing a key part in supporting young people who have experienced significant trauma. Whether you’re cooking with the young people, taking them to cinema trips, supporting them with appointments or daily tasks, you'll help them build trusting, healthy relationships and discover the benefits of feeling safe and secure. It can be tough and challenging, but it is always incredibly rewarding.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide holistic support to young people at 3Hive—physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.
2. Empower young people to make decisions and ensure they have a voice.
3. Tailor support to meet the individual needs of each young person to achieve the best outcomes.
Key Tasks
1. Support personal development and respect each young person's dignity.
2. Promote high standards of personal care and be aware of individual goals and targets.
3. Take on Keyworker responsibilities for specific young people.
4. Work two 24-hour shifts per week on a 4-on, 4-off basis.
5. Maintain records, adhere to care plans and risk assessments, and complete daily logs.
6. Attend team meetings, communicate effectively with staff and outside agencies, and maintain confidentiality.
7. Support young people in the community, during activities, and provide driving assistance when necessary.
8. Ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times.
9. Commit to ongoing training to fulfill the role effectively.
10. Uphold Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies, reporting concerns as needed.
11. Perform any other duties necessary for the successful operation of 3Hive.

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organizations. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact, with regular catch-ups, check-in emails, and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study, giving you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible. Upon completing this 24-month apprenticeship, you will have gained the Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Level 4) qualification.
