Here's the exciting bita day includes Role Purpose: Part of a key team which supports buyers in the calculation and invoicing of supplier income across the business, developing strong and effective cross-functional working relationships and driving process improvements to enable the business to deliver company targets and profitability. This role reports to the Finance Manager, Trading (Margin Support). A typical day in this role includes: Co-ordinate the periodic promotional support process, working closely with the Commercial team to ensure all submissions are submitted accurately and on time Support the Finance Manager in identifying gaps and inefficiencies where income may not be being claimed and implementing tools, reports, analysis and process improvements accordingly Manage a supplier income portfolio, facilitating the timely throughput of generating invoices to suppliers, building a working relationship with the relevant Commercial teams to do so Support the Financial Control team in the management of aged debt so disputes are resolved quickly, primarily in managing credit note reviews Own Income balance sheets ensuring effective controls are in place Work alongside the Finance Manager in building the income and margin support targets for the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes Help develop and deliver role specific training and guidelines to the business around income and promotional processes This job is a good fit for you if: You have strong attention to detail and can see the 'big picture' You are excited at understanding and finding ways to improve processes You are a real self-starter and can take initiative and be proactive to deliver results You have a methodical and logical approach to work You have the ability to prioritise and manage parallel workflows with tight deadlines You enjoy working as part of a team You can work at a fast pace, in an ever changing environment You are good at building strong collaborative relationships You have good communication skills What you'll need: Part qualified accountancy qualification or intention to study Strong Excel skills and ability to master technical skills quickly A passion for driving change and process improvement A keen eye for detail and a passion for Finance Commercial awareness Here's what's in it for you 33 days holiday rising to 38 days with length of service (inclusive of bank holidays) 2 staff discount codes for yourself and a family member or friend 30% discount on Superdrug Own Brand Products both in store and online Hybrid working patterns available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station Company pension matching and bonus We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it Being part of more!
