We are seeking a Offshore Jacket Engineer for a 6-month assignment, based in Leatherhead, Surrey

Purpose of the Role
As a Technical Advisor - Offshore structural, you will support the lead related preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned:
Key Responsibilities / Skills
* Design basis, material and construction specifications
* Independently perform engineering analyses for operational (inservice) phase (inplace, fatigue, seismic), non-operational phase (loadout, transportation, launch, upending and setdown) and accidental phase (boat impact, ALE earthquake, pushover).
* Perform detailed design of jacket appurtenances
* Review analyses/ calculations performed by others, provide technical guidance and proactively resolve any discrepancies
* Liaise with other disciplines, client and 3rd party contractors
* Coordinate with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
* Degree in Structural Engineering Design
* Minimum experience of 12 years having excellent technical and practical engineering skills and able to consistently deliver on quality and schedule.
* Proficient user of SESAM GENIE and SESAM suite of software
* Perform non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS is desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902 and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes is a must.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
* Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
