We’re on the lookout for calm, capable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Barnsley. You’ll step into lessons with ready-made plans and help pupils stay focused and engaged.

What you’ll be doing:
7. Delivering pre-set work to classes across a range of subjects
8. Managing classroom behaviour and keeping learning on track
9. Supporting students in line with school policies
10. Acting as a key presence when teachers are absent
You’ll need to be:
11. Confident in managing a classroom (no QTS required)
12. Adaptable, proactive, and professional
13. Reliable and great with people – students and staff alike
14. Ideally experienced in schools, youth work, coaching, or similar settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
