Candidate Profile:
CTA qualified, with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in tax.
Proven experience managing teams and delivering complex tax projects.
Strong client relationship and communication skills.
Commercially minded with a track record of identifying opportunities to add value.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of tax professionals, including conducting appraisals, overseeing recruitment, and delivering training and development
Provide expert advice across both personal tax and corporate tax matters.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, liaising directly to manage expectations and deliver exceptional service.
Collaborate with general practice partners on complex and interesting mixed tax advisory projects.
Draft high-quality, technical responses to HMRC enquiries.
Delegate and oversee the preparation of transaction documents relating to company reorganisations, share schemes, property transfers, trusts, corporate sales, acquisitions, and demergers.
Identify and drive special project work across the client portfolio in partnership with other firm partners.
Play an active role in business development, contributing to winning new clients and growing the firms portfolio.
