Div h3 Overview /h3 p Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced procurement leader to shape and deliver the Council's procurement strategy, ensuring high quality, value driven commissioning of goods, services and works aligned to our Borough priorities. /p p In this pivotal role, you will lead a strategic procurement function overseeing significant spend (c. £500m+), providing expert commercial advice to senior leaders, elected members and key governance bodies. You will drive innovation, strengthen financial governance, and embed a strong business partnering approach across the organisation. /p h3 Key Responsibilities /h3 ul li Leading the development and delivery of strategic procurement and commissioning activity /li li Providing expert commercial advice and assurance at senior leadership and board level /li li Managing and developing a high performing procurement service /li li Overseeing major programmes including the London Construction Programme and Dynamic Marketplace /li li Driving value for money, effective governance, and customer focused outcomes /li li Supporting insourcing initiatives and centralised procurement services /li li Building collaborative partnerships across local, regional and national networks /li /ul p Postholder must be holder of MCIPS or equivalent experience; with experience of managing a large public sector function and have a comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement regimes and legislation. /p p If you are interested in this role please send your updated CV in the first instance. /p /div #J-18808-Ljbffr
