Hospitality Supervisor
£16.07 per hour + company benefits. Full‑time hours include some weekend work.
Location: Thurnby Fields, Leicester – Opening September 2026.
The role is to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction at all times, overseeing the operations of the home.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor, control and manage the home’s budgets, ensuring the departments use nominated suppliers.
2. Recruit, train and manage all team members, ensuring performance standards are understood and maintained.
3. Ensure that the catering service meets high standards in presentation and menu content, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver quality service that is value for money.
4. Monitor and support the dining areas during meal times to meet the highest standards.
5. Attend evening and weekend functions as they arise to facilitate a quality service to residents and guests.
6. Ensure the whole home team is appropriately trained and customer service standards are met at all times.
Qualifications
1. Background in hotel or catering management; knowledge of budget control, purchasing, auditing of environment, food preparation and presentation.
2. Strong communication skills when dealing with team members, residents and family members.
3. Experience in a care or hospitality setting preferred.
