Regional Sales Manager - Hampshire Based - South Coast Territory - Conveyor Chains
Overview
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the South Coast territory, including London. This position reports directly to the UK Sales Manager and is focused on driving revenue growth through a blend of new business development and strategic account management.
Ideally, you'll be based in Hampshire to sit centrally within the territory, but we're also open to strong applicants based elsewhere along the South Coast who have a proven track record of successfully covering the region.
Responsibilities
Build a strong and sustainable pipeline, converting opportunities into long‑term partnerships, and increasing market share across a range of industrial sectors, with an annual revenue target of around £1m.
Focus around 40% on managing and developing existing accounts, ensuring high level service while identifying opportunities to expand revenue.
Secure new business, develop a territory plan aligned with wider commercial objectives, and promote a broad portfolio of mechanical components, engineered products and site services.
Manage quotations, orders and customer interactions through the CRM system, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular forecasts and activity reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience selling into industrial environments, particularly within mechanical power transmission or conveyor chains sector.
Strong track record of client retention, ability to invest in long‑term relationships.
Strong negotiation skills, confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, interpret technical requirements.
Background in field‑based sales, solution‑based selling, territory planning and pipeline generation.
Relevant technical or commercial qualification beneficial, full UK driving licence required.
