Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the SoAD Instagram account to promote employability opportunities, career development activities, and relevant experiences that support students in achieving graduate-level roles such as Rise, Future X, Careers Service and programme related activities.
* Generate comms for all BA programme teams/subjects within the SoAD to support engagement with Alumni post‑graduation.
* Design and produce visual campaigns to support the SoAD GO communications strategy, both during and outside of the GO survey period.
* Support the maintenance of the SoAD closed LinkedIn Groups to promote job roles, events etc. to encourage continual engagement with alumni post‑graduation.
* Assist in producing alumni case studies, using publicly available or alumni-provided information to highlight career journeys and graduate success.
* Assist with the administration and organisation of alumni events and related activities.
* Support communication activity that increases awareness of the Graduate Outcomes survey and its purpose.
* Contribute to the development of a LinkedIn toolkit, including guidance on identifying alumni, understanding professional pathways, and building a professional network.

About the role
We are seeking a punctual, organised, and proactive individual with a strong interest in visual communication and graduate futures. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Working closely with and under the guidance of the SoAD GO Lead Clare Calveley, you will support the delivery of communications and engagement initiatives designed to enhance graduate success.
This role would suit someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, confident in written and visual communication, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Eligibility
* School of Art & Design student: L5 / L6 studying Graphic Design
* School of Art & Design student: MA Graphic Design
* PhD student studying a design related subject, Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to produce clear written and visual materials
* Understanding of professional communication and design practices
* Confidence working with academic and professional services staff
* Competence using: Adobe Creative Suite | Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Forms | LinkedIn | Instagram | TikTok
