Role Overview
The Occupational Health Physician will provide chargeable service delivery, maintaining professional standards and accreditation. This permanent position is based in the Midlands and Yorkshire, with flexible working days tailored to your preferences.
About The Team
The RPS Occupational Health team comprises clinicians dedicated to promoting good health in the workplace through risk-based health surveillance, wellbeing initiatives, health screening, and case management. Our team includes qualified Occupational Health Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, and Advisors, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. We prioritize quality over quantity, limiting assessments to ensure manageable workloads and high-quality service, which supports staff morale and retention.
About You
As a key member of our team, you will help clients manage health and wellbeing solutions through consultations on fitness for work, absence management, and health surveillance advice. You should be passionate, problem-solving, and enjoy variety, teamwork, and being valued as an individual.
Your Responsibilities
* Managing a variety of casework including management referrals, pension assessments, medicals for HSE, OEUK, and Tier 4 Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome assessments.
* Participating in audit activities to maintain SEQOHS accreditation.
* Overseeing quality and clinical management, ensuring confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and excellent customer relations.
* Supporting business development, health and safety, and professional development initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* IT literacy with MS Office, eOPAS experience, and quick learner of new systems.
* Knowledge of quality management, accreditation systems, and work-related health issues.
* Motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to meet targets and deadlines, and learn new information quickly.
* Strong deductive and intuitive skills.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Occupational Medicine (essential).
* AFOM/MFOM qualification (desirable).
* Full UK driving license (JP1).
