Teacher of Sociology, Criminology and Business Studies Location: Secondary School - Southport Contract Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: To start ASAP on an ongoing basis Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Southport for a Teacher of Sociology, Criminology and Business Studies to join the humanities department. The role is to start as soon as possible and will continue on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Sociology, Criminology and Business Studies to KS5. Monitor, assess and report on student progress, ensuring all pupils are supported to succeed. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, debate and critical thinking. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department to share best practices and maintain high academic standards. Contribute to wider school life, including pastoral duties and extracurricular activities where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience teaching at A-Level/L13 in Criminology, Sociology and Business Studies. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
