We are looking to recruit experienced Lead Pega Business Architect’s to join us on fast moving, innovative and influential work that is underway in the Defence and Security Sector. This is a contract role. Flexible, primarily remote working with approximately 2 days a month in a client or company office. Main responsibilities Support and guide the ongoing definition of the product roadmap with business stakeholders, Requirement gathering, ideation and documentation of Pega-based platforms and applications including entity diagrams and relevant frameworks to ensure effective identification of functional and non-functional requirements, Ensure that solutions designed & developed by the team aligned with the needs of the business, whilst conforming to Pega design practices and technology principles, Lead and guide the existing Business Architects in terms of behaviours & desired outcomes in line with the product roadmap. Promote standard methodology and education to colleagues and clients, Operate within and suggest best practices/patterns applicable to the Pega technology and the business domain, Bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders whilst ensuring Pega capabilities are appropriately leveraged, Provide Pega platform and business process expertise as guidance to client-side delivery stakeholders, Liaise with other stakeholders within and outside of project teams, such as the client and other roles across the client’s wider business, to best achieve success, Support successful outcomes: Meet customers’ needs from the outset and through continuous engagement, within SiXworks processes, standards, and policies and under minimal guidance. Within role, support delivery of products responsively, flexibly, and efficiently. Help ensure projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget, as reasonably achievable. Remain transparent in adherence to methodology and approach. This will include: Understanding, at an appropriate level, the relevant technology and security characteristics and solution options. Developing an understanding of customers’ operational and business environments. Supporting the design and delivery of innovative, secure solutions. Assisting with initial project design, pricing and resourcing, if called upon to do so. Help ensure that projects are delivered using the appropriate methodology as outlined by SiXworks processes, standards, and patterns. Where required, reporting into delivery team leadership in line with project methodology. Contributing to team introspection (for example, via retrospective events). Ensuring that your knowledge, competency, and experience is effectively shared within the team. Ensure maintenance and progression of security and Pega-related training and competency in line with SiXworks processes, standards, and patterns relevant to the Pega technology. As required, providing support in the production of comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports. Ensuring compliance with in-place project guidelines against team and SiXworks processes, standards, and patterns. Where required, lead small streams of work whilst adhering to and influencing SiXworks processes, standards, and patterns relevant to the Pega technology. Certification Requirements for role: Holds Pega Certified Business Architect certification, on Pega 8.8 or greater, Preferably, also holds Pega Certified System Architect, on Pega 8.8 or greater, Has previous experience in multiple projects holding the aforementioned responsibilities, Has experience with Pega’s core supporting tooling such as: Pega Agile Studio Pega Blueprint Has previous experience or training/certification with Pega Customer Service.
