A caring and forward-thinking special school near Sandhurst, Berkshire is seeking a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join its dedicated multidisciplinary team. The school supports children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), learning difficulties, and associated social and emotional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a therapist who is committed to improving outcomes for pupils through high-quality assessment, therapy and collaborative working. Applications are welcomed from both newly qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapists.
Key Responsibilities
 * 
 Deliver speech, language and communication assessments and interventions.
 * 
 Develop and implement individual therapy plans tailored to pupil needs.
 * 
 Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals.
 * 
 Contribute to EHCP targets and annual reviews.
 * 
 Support the delivery of communication-friendly classrooms.
 * 
 Provide training and guidance to staff to promote effective communication strategies across the school.
 * 
 Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional standards.
About You
 * 
 Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
 * 
 RCSLT membership (desirable).
 * 
 Experience working with children or young people, ideally with special educational needs.
 * 
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 * 
 A child-centred approach and commitment to safeguarding.
 * 
 Flexible, proactive and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
 * 
 Passionate about empowering young people to achieve their full potential.
