Job Description Summary The Lead Project Manager – Industry Service is a key customer-facing role responsible for delivering a portfolio of industrial automation and control projects. The role has accountability for project execution, customer satisfaction, schedule, cost, quality, and cash performance across multiple concurrent projects and customer accounts. This position is particularly focused on the delivery of SCADA-based solutions, including ARS, ATCC and SCS-type projects, within a fast-paced customer delivery environment. The Lead Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional engineering and execution teams, manage customer and stakeholder relationships across multiple active accounts, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and to the required technical and contractual standards. The role requires a high degree of ownership, accountability, and commercial awareness, with the ability to lead parallel workstreams, manage changing priorities, and drive consistent execution excellence. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent Industry SCADA projects, ensuring delivery in line with contractual commitments, business targets, and customer expectations Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, change control, and close-out. Act as the primary customer contact, building strong relationships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Lead and coordinate a small multidisciplinary engineering team across parallel workstreams and competing priorities. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, risks, and forecasts, taking corrective action where required. Manage project performance including cost, margin, billing milestones, cash collection, and overall financial control. Ensure effective management of technical, commercial, and quality issues, including changes, claims, and extensions where applicable. Ensure compliance with internal processes, governance requirements, and quality standards. Essential Experience & Skills: Proven project management experience in an industrial, automation, controls, or related technical environment. Formal project management qualification or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to lead a small engineering team across parallel workstreams and competing priorities. Strong customer and stakeholder management skills across multiple active accounts. Proactive, organised, and delivery-focused, with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Strong project planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation skills. Good commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, cost control, billing, and cash collection. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Desired Characteristics: Experience in delivery of SCADA system projects. Commercially aware, collaborative, and effective in a fast-paced execution environment. This role involves work for customers who manage critical infrastructure; based on customer requirements it will be necessary to carry out background checks and suitability assessments (UK BPSS clearance OR UK SC clearance) as part of the hiring process.
