Job Overview
To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
Deliver results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
Responsibilities
* Respond to and accurately report any incidents that arise.
* Conduct regular site patrols, ensuring compliance with required KPI points.
* Be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
* Proactively refer to and review the published Assignment Instructions, and suggest amendments that improve or enhance the current level of service.
* Comply with Industry and Statutory Legislation, including holding a front‑line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence, and renewing licences 16 weeks before expiry.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
* Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
* Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry promptly after any incident, which supports the Incident Report process.
* Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and challenging customers.
* Look out for, and immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
* Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears threatening.
* Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions.
* Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
* Comply with all legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training and additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
Requirements
* Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Previous Security Experience.
* SIA Licence.
* SC Clearance desirable.
* Must be adaptable to the demands of this dynamic role.
* Willingness to adjust to evolving operational requirements within the role.
Working Pattern
Nights Mon Tue or Wed Thur 22:00–06:00, Fri 22:00–08:00, Sat 20:00–08:00, Sun 20:00–06:00
Salary
£12.55 per hour.
