About the Role
You will provide in-person GCSE Science tuition to a student who requires tailored support beyond the traditional classroom setting. The focus of this role goes beyond academic outcomes, placing strong emphasis on trust-building, encouragement, and long-term engagement with education.
Session details:
* One-to-one GCSE Science tuition
* 2 hours per week
* After-school sessions: Tuesdays, 4:00-6:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition sessions aligned to the learner's needs
* Support the student's confidence, motivation, and engagement with learning
* Work collaboratively with parents/carers, schools, and relevant professionals
* Track progress and provide clear, accurate session feedback and outcomes
* Maintain a supportive, structured, and safe learning environment
