We are searching for an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join a school in Nottingham, providing targeted support to pupils who need guidance in managing behaviour and engaging positively with learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Mentor who can build strong relationships, encourage self-regulation, and help create a calm, focused learning environment.
The Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs
* Implement behaviour support strategies in line with school policies
* Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to monitor progress
* Promote positive behaviour, attendance, and engagement in lessons
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development as Behaviour Mentor
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
