Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service in the bar, restaurant and reception. Responsibilities
* Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude
* Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently when required to work on reception
* Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
* Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and guest preferences
* Process payments and manage cash transactions with precision
* Oversee the running of the bar & restaurant during your shift
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
* Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally
* Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is essential
* Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
* Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and guest management
* A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
