If you’ve personally travelled the Maldives and have a proven background selling it within a travel agency or tour operator environment, this could be the perfect next step in your travel career.
This is a hybrid role based in the Buckinghamshire area, offering a balance of office collaboration and home working.
Maldives Travel Specialist Duties:
* As a Maldives Travel Specialist, you’ll be responsible for creating exceptional, tailor-made journeys to the Maldives, delivering expert advice and outstanding service to clients seeking unforgettable experiences.
* You’ll work closely with discerning customers, using your first-hand destination knowledge to recommend resorts, experiences, and travel options that perfectly match their needs and budgets.
* Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat and referral business.
* Liaise with tour operators, hoteliers, and suppliers to secure the best options for clients.
* Manage bookings accurately, including flights, resorts, transfers, and special requests.
* Stay up to date with new resorts, product updates, and Maldives travel trends.
Maldives Travel Specialist – Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience selling the Maldives within a travel agent or tour operator setting.
* First-hand travel experience of the Maldives (essential).
* Happy with a hybrid working model.
* Strong sales skills with the ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
* Outstanding customer service and attention to detail.
