Job Title Senior Finance Analyst Job Description Join our FP&A team as a Senior Finance Analyst and play a pivotal role in supporting the Routes to Revenue and Strategic Partnerships functions. You'll act as a trusted business partner, delivering insightful analysis and strategic financial advice that empowers decision-making and drives the achievement of financial targets. This is a hybrid role based out of either our Newcastle or London office, 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities What will you be doing? As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be a trusted partner, building strong relationships with function heads and their teams. You'll proactively deliver high-quality financial analysis and guidance to support commercial decision-making, provide standardized and simplified reporting, and offer ad-hoc insights on key issues. You will own the month-end close process for your functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial processes, including planning and budgeting, while maintaining compliance with financial standards and best practices. Your role will focus on optimizing P&L performance, controlling spending, and supporting investment decisions through robust business cases. Additionally, you will provide high-quality forecasting and commercial insight to enhance business predictability. We're seeking a proactive, solution-focused Senior Finance Analyst with exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills. A commercial and operational mindset, along with experience collaborating with non-finance stakeholders, is essential. Ambition and drive to build a long-term career with Sage are highly valued. Ideally, you'll have expertise in financial and analytical modelling, with strong Excel skills, and knowledge of HFM, Enterprise Management, or Adaptive Insights is a plus.
