This will be joining a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is a hands-on leadership role within a busy machine shop, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident leading from the front. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of CNC operators within the machine shop Set up and operate CNC machinery Input and run pre-written CNC programmes accurately and efficiently Carry out tool changes and ensure machines are running to optimal performance Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precision and quality Train, mentor, and develop new employees, taking them under your wing to build capability within the team Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency, ensuring targets are met Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment Act as a key point of contact between shop floor staff and management Management of work in progress (WIP) according to planned production date.
