Customer Service Representative – A Lings Group Ltd About Us A Lings Group Ltd is a rapidly growing home emergency services provider, delivering Gas, Plumbing, Electrical, and Drainage services to private and insurance-backed clients across South London. With over five years of continuous growth, we pride ourselves on reliability, speed, and excellent customer service. We are now looking to expand our office-based customer service team to support increasing demand. Our office is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Hackbridge Station, with direct rail links into central London. The Role As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our operations. You’ll be responsible for handling inbound calls, booking jobs, managing enquiries, and supporting engineers in a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone who remains calm under pressure, is highly organised, and communicates professionally at all times. Key Responsibilities * Answer inbound customer calls and book jobs accurately * Prioritise emergency work and manage workloads efficiently * Compile and action customer reports same day or next day * Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner * Liaise with engineers and internal teams to ensure smooth job progression * Participate in a weekend rota (paid at enhanced overtime rates) What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role (essential) * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Confident IT skills (CRM systems, email, booking software) * Flexible approach, particularly during peak winter periods * Reliable, positive attitude with a willingness to learn Experience within home emergencies, trades, insurance, or facilities management is advantageous but not essential.
