Our Nurses play a crucial role, ensuring residents receive high-quality medical and personal care. They manage medication, monitor health conditions, and provide essential treatments. Beyond their clinical duties, nurses offer emotional support, fostering a compassionate environment that promotes residents’ well-being. Their expertise in coordinating with other healthcare professionals ensures comprehensive and timely care, making them indispensable in maintaining the health and happiness of our residents.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents, leading a team of Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
* Carrying out assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for each resident.
* Monitoring work areas and practices throughout the day to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies, and legislation.
* Delivering clinical guidance to your care team, leading, motivating, and mentoring them to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the care home.
* Promoting residents’ independence, choice, and dignity by delivering high standards of care and striving for continuous improvement to maintain a safe, person-centered environment.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
* A positive attitude, with energy and enthusiasm to foster a supportive working environment.
* Natural caring ability with a hands-on approach, helping residents maintain independence, choice, and dignity.
* Effective communication skills to build strong, honest relationships with residents and their families.
* A passion for coaching, guiding, and supporting your team, including providing training to colleagues and other care professionals.
* A respectful, compassionate team player dedicated to giving your personal best.
