We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Mental Health team at HMP Highpoint, a category C Prison located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk.

Highpoint is a male prison with a capacity of 1370 males. You will be based within the healthcare department but will also go out to the wings to administer medication. The pharmacy team consists of 5 members. Highpoint Prison offers:

Hours
* This role is a permanent 37.5 hours per week over 4 days
* Monday - Friday
* 7.45am - 6.15pm
Salary
This full-time position offers an annual salary up to £28,247 - £36,500 depending on experience.

Requirements

* Provide patient-centred care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to ensure personalized care
* Maintain a safe medicines management service and accurate medical records
* Deliver non-judgmental care within professional standards, including timely medication administration and cost-effective prescribing

Qualifications and experience
* NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up-to-date CPD
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently following policy and procedures
Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is desirable but not essential.
Additional criteria
* Compliance with DBS checks due to the role's security requirements
