Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Penny Tree School, Birmingham B30 3ES
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We are part of Outcomes First Group and operate 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) where applicable, with pay maintained at full-time levels. Some schools have already implemented 4DWW, with others preparing to roll it out as staffing permits.
About Us: Our Penny Tree School will have capacity for 60 pupils and is expected to open in the near future. For over 16 years, Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we lead in setting and delivering new approaches with measurable outcomes. In 2024, Outcomes First Group was certified as a Great Place to Work for the fifth year running.
Who We Are Looking For
You will be a passionate teacher and a great communicator, comfortable talking to pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs, as well as contributing to the school’s vision and direction. Our schools are unique environments with opportunities, resources, and a welcoming school family. You will enjoy building caring relationships and liaising with fellow professionals, whether in the same school or at pupils’ previous educational establishments.
Requirement: UK QTS or equivalent
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality education to pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.
* Communicate effectively with pupils, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Contribute to the school’s vision, culture, and direction.
* Build caring relationships and liaise with colleagues and other professionals.
