Delivery Postie with Driving — Royal Mail
Location: London Delivery Office, N19 4TT. Job reference: 329890. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 days across Monday to Sunday, shifts between 08:00-15:00 and 14:00-20:00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends.

Responsibilities
Deliver mail and parcels to customers in your local community. A Postie delivers for your local community, because you care about the people. The role is physical and includes walking for long periods and working outside in all weather conditions.

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £15.50 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
* Paid overtime at enhanced rate (1.25x) for hours over 40 per week.

Who we’re looking for (qualifications and attributes)
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
* Organised, punctual and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
* People-person with a friendly presence in the community.
* Willing to walk for long periods and work outside in any weather.
* Strong sense of community pride.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Important notes
Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
