Expo Technologies is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards across our products, services, and processes. Our equipment is used in challenging and regulated industries worldwide, so quality is at the core of everything we do.
As a Quality Engineer with Expo, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, reducing non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, as well as with suppliers and auditors.
What you’ll be doing
* Maintaining accreditation to ISO9001 and IEC (phone number removed) across the business.
* Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and leading internal audits.
* Reviewing non-conformances and improvement reports, ensuring corrective actions are followed through.
* Working with teams across the business to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
* Supporting supplier quality management, equipment calibration, and inspection activities.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and 5S.
What we’re looking for
* An engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
* ISO9001 Internal Auditor certification (required for external applicants).
* Around 3 years’ quality engineering experience in a mechanical or electro-mechanical environment.
* Experience in regulated industries (ATEX/IECEx is ideal, but aerospace, automotive, or similar also valued).
* A practical, problem-solving approach and a willingness to get involved across functions.
What you’ll get
* The chance to build your career as a Quality Engineer in a company with a strong reputation in specialist engineering.
* A varied role with visibility across the whole business, from suppliers to final product.
* Opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and make a real impact on how we work.
* A supportive team environment where quality is valued and expertise is recognised.
If you’re a Quality Engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working with others to get things right first time, we’d love to hear from you.
