Overview
We currently have a vacancy within the Oncology department for an Assistant Medical Secretary to join the Specialty Admin Team. NHS experience would be beneficial. Experience of patient pathways, ERS and Lorenzo is also desirable.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Medical Secretary in delivering an effective and efficient support service to specialty administration teams.
* Provide general clerical and administrative duties that support the administrative elements of the entire patient pathway.
* Use Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
Qualifications / Skills
* Experience in administrative functions to support the patient pathway.
* Ability to work within SOPs and meet specified timescales.
