Join EDF EPR Engineering UK and play a pivotal role in delivering the next generation of nuclear power stations. You’ll contribute to two major projects—Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C—through engineering excellence, integration, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
The Opportunity
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) designs civil, systems and equipment for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project and supports Sizewell C. A Technical Directorate is established to oversee engineering disciplines needed to deliver these projects through EPR-E’s integrated teams. As Equipment Integration Lead, you’ll drive design maturity and configuration management across multidisciplinary teams, guiding technical direction and resolving cross-functional challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead integration efforts within the Integrated Team Bristol (ITB) Equipment team.
* Set objectives, monitor performance, and ensure design maturity and stability across disciplines.
* Resolve technical challenges and coordinate stakeholders across buildings, systems, and contracts.
* Manage networks of coordinators, oversee open point resolution, and act as a central interface for technical issues.
* Report progress, escalate critical topics, and guide decision-making within governance forums.
* Lead the implementation of UKDC processes and ensure the maturity of impact analyses.
* Champion best practices in integration and configuration management and foster continuous improvement.
Who You Are
* Engineering professional with a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and experience leading in highly regulated environments.
* Strong understanding of EPR design and engineering processes; robust knowledge of UK regulations and nuclear industry standards.
* Natural communicator and collaborator, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders in multidisciplinary teams.
* Inclusive mindset, proactive, and capable of modelling a positive, engaging work culture.
* Experience managing teams and interfacing with regulators is preferred. Fluency in English required; French is a bonus.
Pay, Benefits & Culture
Salary from £54,000, dependent on experience.
