About the Role
As a Night Shift Machine Operative, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of machinery within a manufacturing setting. Your primary goal will be to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating and monitoring production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
* Conducting routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
* Performing basic machine adjustments and minor maintenance tasks.
* Identifying and reporting any mechanical faults or production issues promptly.
* Loading and unloading materials from machines.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift operations.
Working Hours & Pay
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
* Hours: 22:00 - 06:00
* Pay Rate: £13.82 per hour
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Good communication skills.
* A proactive and reliable approach to work.
* Ability to follow instructions accurately.
* A good understanding of health and safety principles.
