RCA Label Group UK is a flagship recording label of Sony Music Entertainment encompassing RCA Records and Since ’93. UK artists on RCA / Since ’93 today include Myles Smith, JADE, Cat Burns, Bring Me The Horizon, Nothing But Thieves, joining US superstars such as Beyoncé, SZA, Miley Cyrus and P!nk.
The ever evolving promotions team at RCA UK involves work across press, TV, radio, DSP editorial, podcasts and creator strategy. We are a collaborative, cutting edge, dynamic, quick thinking, problem solving crew with big personalities and great skills of persuasion. We’re a department that requires hard work, but rewards with concrete results… and a lot of fun!
What you’ll do:
* Distribute music, images and e-cards to bookers, producers, presenters and journalists and service videos to TV broadcasters via Promostream and ensuring suitable edits are made.
* Assist in the co-ordination of press, TV and radio interviews and appearances.
* Collate print and online cuttings for the publicity team / learning what is appropriate for distribution for each artist / circulating weekly radio and TV playlists / ensuring our radio, TV and press reports are updated.
* Attend gigs and promotional events.
* Be accountable for all general admin including purchase orders, travel booking, magazine and newspaper ordering, vinyl and CD stock control, ticket ordering and distribution.
* The right candidate may also bring some radio plugging contributions, potentially in a specialist area.
* Pitching to DSPs and assisting with DSP playlisting round ups and updates
