About The Role
We are looking to recruit a Duty Manager for our store in Bristol Longwell Green. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your retail management career at a rapidly growing business.
Salary: £32,000+ depending on experience
Responsibilities
* Deliver, maximise and exceed sales targets in store
* Maintain product availability on the shop floor
* Ensure the team’s familiarity with all products in all departments
* Ensure customer purchases are carried out in accordance with company guidelines
* Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with promptly and effectively
* Achieve and maintain company standards on housekeeping, floor presentation and space planning
* Participate in weekly stock takes - identify and report abnormal counts to the Store Manager
* Ensure staffing levels match the business needs, or events in-store
* Prepare, monitor and action daily task board
* Actively drive the team’s knowledge of top sellers and department stock loss
* Assist Store Manager with all staffing issues, i.e. training and performance reviews
* Cash handling/security and daily spot checks on all tills
* Ensure that company cash/stock handling procedures are adhered to at all times
* Responsible for the opening and closing of the store
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven track record as a Retail Manager in a fast-paced retail environment
* High level of operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
* Target-driven and customer service orientated
* Highly motivated and ambitious
* Self-starter with a can-do attitude
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills
