Responsibilities
As a Category Buying Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and developing product categories to meet customer needs and market trends.
Develop and execute effective category strategies to drive growth and profitability
Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to negotiate terms and source products
Manage category budgets and monitor performance against targets
Lead and inspire a team to deliver high standards of category management
Qualifications
Proven experience in category buying within the food retail sector
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
